"… we were welcomed with open arms by the entire staff of the Great Spirit Circle Trail. We had booked a tour of the Foundation, which started in the healing room with a traditional ceremony, and then our guide was so kind as to allow us to ask him questions about Native culture and traditional medicines. And then for us the biggest treat of all was being invited to go sweetgrass picking the next day with a group of young people from the area. We really enjoyed this and learned a lot.

We would really like to thank the Great Spirit Circle Trail for a wonderful holiday, and enjoyed the area so much we went back a few weeks later to camp again, and then decided to go back this summer of 2005 for our honeymoon. We will be staying at a cabin at Aundeck Omni Kaning and are very excited to go back to Manitoulin and see all the wonderful people we met at the Great Spirit Circle Trail. …"
